The ACEJMC is the national organization that evaluates journal

ACEJMC accredits programs in journalism and mass communications at colleges and universities in the United States, Puerto Rico and outside the country. Programs requesting a review by ACEJMC are evaluated every six years and, after the evaluative process, receive one of three determinations: accredited/reaccredited, provisional or denial.schools, ACEJMC’s searchable database of accredited schools is ready for implementation. The Council will discuss at its Aug. 25 meeting how and when the database requirement will become Council policy, as well as the pro-cess and implications for failure to comply. All ACEJMC accredited pro-grams will self-report data directly
